Sinead Papadimitriou
Director & Principal Vocal Coach
Sinead Papadimitriou is the owner and director of The Vocal Zone and has over 13 years of teaching experience. She studied at the Australian Institute of Music and began her professional career performing internationally as a vocalist on cruise ships, travelling and working as a full-time performer.
Now based in Sydney, Sinead works extensively as a professional singer, performing at weddings, corporate events, and private functions both locally and interstate. She performs regularly as part of an acoustic duo as well as with live bands, bringing a broad range of experience across pop, soul, musical theatre, and contemporary styles.
As a teacher, Sinead is passionate about building strong, healthy technique while nurturing confidence and individuality in every student. Her lessons are grounded in real-world performance experience, creating a supportive and inspiring environment where singers of all ages can grow both vocally and personally.
Kayla Ingle-Olson
Musical Theatre & Private Vocal Teacher)
Kayla (She/her), is a NIDA graduate (Diploma of Music Theatre, 2023), and a versatile Australian based performer with a passion for musical theatre. Since graduating, Kayla was invited back to NIDA by Alexander Berlage as a guest performer for NIDA’s 2024 Fundraising Gala, and has performed in a variety of community and professional theatre around Sydney. In 2026, Kayla will be performing the role of Ocean in CODA’s Ride The Cyclone, and performing in the ‘With Love’ Cabaret (directed by Alex Gonzalez).
In 2025, Kayla made her professional debut as Candy in Mark Edmonds Productions’ ‘Believe: A Christmas Musical’ (directed by Christie Koppe), performed as Ensemble/Cover Louise in Sydney Opera and Musical Society’s ‘Carousel’ (directed by Julia Roberston), and also performed in an immersive cocktail experience, ‘Dorothy In Oz’ (directed by Alex Wregg), as Tip/Ozma.
To name a few, some of Kayla’s standout roles in community theatre include Little Red Riding Hood in ‘Into The Woods’ (BTC), Olive Ostrovsky in ‘Spelling Bee’ (UNSW), Dance Captain in ‘Anything Goes’ (EMS), Gretchen in the NSW Amateur premiere of ‘Freaky Friday’ (EMS), and Gingy in ‘Shrek’ (EMS) which earnt her a Broadway World Award Nomination. Kayla has also participated in multiple short films recently, and when she was younger appeared on The Voice Kids in 2014. Also experienced in voice acting, Kayla has voiced the role of Sloane in ‘Alice Miranda: Friends Forever’, which is now streaming on Stan. Kayla works to teach, encourage and nurture the voices of all of her students, and help them find the same joy in singing and performing that she does.
Stephanie Swords
Musical Theatre & Private Vocal Teacher)
Stephanie has been singing since she was 8 years old.Stephanie has been thrilled to perform in several musicals, performances and operas since the age of 9. She has been part of two Opera Australia operas, Berg’s Wozzeck and Verdi’s Attila from 2018-2021. Some musical theatre highlights include playing the role of The Lady of The Lake in Spamalot (The Regals), Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family (Kirrawee High School), Belle in Beauty and the Beast (Noteable Theatre Company), Annie in Annie (HMDS), Teen Fiona in Shrek (EMS/CTGi) and Jane Banks in Mary Poppins (EMS). Stephanie has also participated in Southern Stars and Pulse Alive as a featured artist from 2019-2023. Stephanie took Music 2, Music Extension and Drama for her HSC, scoring a band 6 in Music Extension.
Stephanie has been a vocal teacher for the past four years, coaching both our musical theatre classes and private lessons. She brings so much energy and care into every session, and her students absolutely love learning with her.
Becke Griggs
Musical Theatre & Private Vocal Teacher)
Becke studied Acting for Film, Theatre and Voice Over in Vancouver, Canada. As a working voice actor, she has lent her voice to campaigns including Greenpeace and the Tamworth Country Music Festival, as well as television programs such as Home & Away and The Masked Singer. She is represented by Scout Talent Management.
Becke is active in community theatre, most recently as Gertrude in EMS’ production of Seussical. She has just begun a Masters in Speech Pathology and is passionate about vocal health and sustainable voice use. Becke believes performance should be accessible to everyone, and fosters a fun, supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore and grow.
