DIRECTOR - TEACHER

Kayla (she/her), is a NIDA graduate (DMT 2023), and a versatile Australian based performer and voice-actor with a passion for musical theatre. She placed 3rd in state for Music 1 in her HSC, with a score of 99/100.

Kayla was recently seen professionally as an ‘On-Stage Swing’ in The Addams Family with The Hayes Theatre and JRP, as ‘Ocean O’Connell Rosenberg’ in CODA’s Ride The Cyclone, and in numerous cabarets. Previous credits include ‘Candy’ in Believe (MEPROD), ‘Ensemble/Cover Louise’ in Carousel (SOMS), ‘Tip/Ozma’ in Dorothy In Oz (SFF), and ‘Guest Soloist’ in NIDA’s 2024 Fundraising Gala.

Some standout community theatre roles include ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ (Into The Woods - BTC), ‘Olive Ostrovsky’ (Spelling Bee - MTS), ‘Gingy’ (Shrek - EMS, nominated for ‘Best Supporting Performer in a Musical’ in Broadway World Awards) and ‘Dance Captain’ (Anything Goes - EMS).

Kayla has also performed in multiple short films recently, has experience in commercials, and was a soloist on The Voice Kids in 2014 (when she was little-er). Experienced in voice-acting, Kayla has also voiced the role of ‘Sloane’ in STAN’s Alice-Miranda: Friends Forever.

Kayla is honored to be directing such a wonderful studio that belongs to an amazing community of families and performers, and aims to teach, encourage and nurture the voices of all of her students. Kayla ensures that all students feel welcomed and included, and helps guide them to find the joy in singing, and form many lifelong skills in performing.

TEACHER

Stephanie  has been singing since she was 8 years old.Stephanie has been thrilled to perform in several musicals, performances and operas since the age of 9. She has been part of two Opera Australia operas, Berg’s Wozzeck and Verdi’s Attila from 2018-2021. Some musical theatre highlights include playing the role of The Lady of The Lake in Spamalot (The Regals), Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family (Kirrawee High School), Belle in Beauty and the Beast (Noteable Theatre Company), Annie in Annie (HMDS), Teen Fiona in Shrek (EMS/CTGi) and Jane Banks in Mary Poppins (EMS). Stephanie has also participated in Southern Stars and Pulse Alive as a featured artist from 2019-2023. Stephanie took Music 2, Music Extension and Drama for her HSC, scoring a band 6 in Music Extension.

Stephanie has been a vocal teacher for the past four years, coaching both our musical theatre classes and private lessons. She brings so much energy and care into every session, and her students absolutely love learning with her.

TEACHER

Becke studied Acting for Film, Theatre and Voice Over in Vancouver, Canada. As a working voice actor, she has lent her voice to campaigns including Greenpeace and the Tamworth Country Music Festival, as well as television programs such as Home & Away and The Masked Singer. She is represented by Scout Talent Management.

Becke is active in community theatre, most recently as Gertrude in EMS’ production of Seussical. She has just begun a Masters in Speech Pathology and is passionate about vocal health and sustainable voice use. Becke believes performance should be accessible to everyone, and fosters a fun, supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore and grow.

TEACHER

Theresa has had a passion for singing and performing from a young age, and has had the pleasure of performing in a multitude of theatre productions across Sydney and the Shire since 2021. Notable credits include Mary Flynn in Merrily We Roll Along (UNSWMTS), Cheshire Cat in Alice by Heart (MUSE), Garvin in Footloose (Engadine Musical Society), Spit in Anything Goes (Engadine Musical Society), and Glinda in Engadine Musical Society’s upcoming season of The Wizard Of Oz. Other credits include Freaky Friday (Engadine Musical Society), Shrek The Musical (Engadine Musical Society), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (The Regals), Sweeney Todd (Bankstown Theatre Company), Seussical The Musical (Engadine Musical Society) and Jagged Little Pill (Inner West Theatre Company). Theresa also studied music in senior years of high school, before attending TAFE Ultimo in Music (Performance).

ADMINISTRATOR

Hudson is a passionate performer located in Sydney’s Eastern Beaches. Having previously trained at Capitol Performance Studios in a variety of dance styles, he went on to recieve a band 6 in HSC Drama, and completed the first year Bachelor of Secondary Education, before leaving university to pursue his love of theatre.

Hudson is an active member in the community theatre space with roles such as David in Company (The Regals), Rapunzels Prince in Into the Woods (CODA), and Mouthpiece in West Side Story (MMTC).
